Brett, 28, met the Jesuits at Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane, Washington, and earned a bachelor’s in accounting at the University of Portland in Oregon. In the Peace Corps and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, he respectively served in Costa Rica and at Dolores Mission Parish in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. Brett enjoys eating and sometimes running.
