Collin, 25, earned a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and worked as a civil engineer. His desire to become a Jesuit was sparked by a Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) retreat, and he is attracted to the Jesuits’ commitment to stand with people on the margins. He traveled to Zambia and Kenya for community development projects and played in a rock band for five years. (West Province)
